We have seen companies address the management of inventories several ways but mostly attempting to identify compliant RoHS stock in segregated caged/taped off areas, identifying compliance by labeling racks/buckets/bins, etc. Most of the solutions offered require additional: software transactions, floor space, and labor to manage the segregation. Traditional software solutions aggregate the quantities of a particular component so that it is very difficult to determine how many you have in inventory are compliant or not. We do not feel that managing the segregation of inventory using conventional methods is effective.
